Reel Rewards Program

Great Outdoors Shops account holders residing in the United States can participate in the Reel Rewards Program, earning points called Bait Bucks to redeem for products on our Site. You’ll be automatically enrolled in Reel Rewards when you create an online account or make a purchase.

Earning Bait Bucks

To earn Bait Bucks, you must have an active Great Outdoors Shops account. Points can be earned in various ways, including:

Following our social media channels
Reviewing products
Referring friends to Great Outdoors Shops

Refer a Friend

You can earn Bait Bucks by referring friends to Great Outdoors Shops using the referral methods outlined in the Reel Rewards tab. Please only refer individuals you personally know. Using the referral tools to send spam to unknown individuals may result in disqualification and forfeiture of your Bait Bucks.

While you can send referrals to as many friends as you like, you may earn points for a maximum of 40 friends per calendar year (January 1 to December 31) who join Great Outdoors Shops through your referral via email, text, or social media.

Checking Your Points Balance

You can view your Bait Bucks balance at any time by logging into your Great Outdoors Shops account and navigating to the Reel Rewards tab on the Site.

Redeeming Bait Bucks

Redeeming Bait Bucks is easy!

You must have an active account.
Points are redeemable for rewards products (“Rewards”) on the Site.
Rewards vary in redemption value, and you must have enough Bait Bucks for the desired Reward.
Rewards are limited to one of each type per redemption and a maximum of nine per calendar month.

To redeem, log into your account, visit the Reel Rewards tab, and choose your Reward. Click the “REDEEM” button, and your points will be applied to the selected Reward. Rewards will ship with your next order.

Points Expiration

Bait Bucks expire one year from the date they are earned, regardless of membership status. If not redeemed within this time, the points will be forfeited. You can track your earning and expiration dates in your Points Activity section.

Limited Availability of Rewards

Rewards are offered while supplies last and are subject to availability.

No Returns on Rewards

Rewards redeemed using Bait Bucks are not returnable for refunds or credit. Since Bait Bucks have no cash value, we cannot issue cash or credit for unused points.

Membership Cancellation and Points

If you cancel your membership, your Bait Bucks will remain in your account until they expire (one year from the date they were earned). If you re-subscribe before your Bait Bucks expire, your points will still be available.

If a Reward cannot be shipped due to membership cancellation, the Bait Bucks used for that Reward will be refunded to your account.
