Shorty Shrimp 3″ Soft Plastic Shrimp | Baitlicious
$6.00
Sometimes a smaller presentation gets the bite. The Baitlicious Shorty Shrimp is a compact 3″ soft plastic shrimp designed for inshore fishing when shrimp and smaller forage are on the menu. Rig it on a jighead, work it around docks and structure, fish it across grass flats, or suspend it beneath a popping cork for redfish, speckled trout, snook, flounder, sheepshead and other saltwater predators.

Baitlicious Shorty Shrimp 3″ Soft Plastic Shrimp
Small shrimp. Big possibilities.
The Baitlicious Shorty Shrimp is a compact 3-inch soft plastic shrimp built for anglers who don’t always believe bigger is better.
Shrimp are a natural part of the inshore food chain, and there are times when matching a smaller forage profile can make all the difference. The Shorty Shrimp gives anglers a compact artificial shrimp that can be worked through shallow water, around structure, across grass flats or beneath a popping cork.
A Compact Inshore Presentation
At just 3 inches long, the Shorty Shrimp provides a smaller profile than the Baitlicious Salt Kicker.
That makes it an excellent choice when fish are feeding on smaller shrimp, when fishing pressured water, or anytime you simply want to downsize your presentation.
Its soft plastic construction allows the bait to move naturally as it’s hopped, twitched, retrieved or allowed to move with the current.
Fish It Your Way
One of the strengths of a soft plastic shrimp is versatility, and the Shorty Shrimp can be adapted to a variety of inshore situations.
Jig It: Pair it with an appropriately sized jighead and work it along the bottom, through channels, around oyster bars or along grass edges.
Pop It: Rig the Shorty Shrimp beneath a popping cork for a classic inshore presentation.
Pitch It: Work docks, pilings, mangrove edges, seawalls and other structure where shrimp and baitfish gather.
Work the Flats: Cast it across shallow grass, through sand holes and along transition areas where predators cruise looking for an easy meal.
Slow It Down: When fish aren’t willing to chase, keep the Shorty Shrimp close to the bottom with short hops and pauses.
Built for Florida Inshore Fishing
The Shorty Shrimp belongs anywhere shrimp-eating predators are feeding.
It’s an excellent option for redfish, speckled trout, snook, flounder, sheepshead, mangrove snapper and other inshore species.
With multiple colors available, anglers can adjust their presentation for water clarity, light conditions and the forage they’re trying to imitate.
Shorty Shrimp or Salt Kicker?
This is an opportunity I would deliberately build into both product pages.
Choose the 3″ Shorty Shrimp when you want a compact presentation, are matching smaller forage, or want to downsize your bait.
Choose the 4″ Salt Kicker when you want a larger shrimp profile and the additional presence and action of the larger bait.
Sometimes they want a meal. Sometimes they want a snack.
Give them the Shorty.
